About Lee
Lee Fairclough is a proud 23-year resident of Etobicoke–Lakeshore, where she and her husband are raising their two boys. She believes in the power of strong public services to build healthy, sustainable, and thriving communities. With over 25 years of leadership in health care, she has dedicated her career to improving lives—starting as a radiation therapist at Princess Margaret Hospital delivering cancer treatment to most recently holding executive roles at hospitals, including as the President of St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener and Senior Vice President of Clinical Care at CAMH, Canadas largest academic Mental Health and Addictions hospital. She has always felt a strong sense of accountability to those she serves, putting patients and families first and spending public funds wisely.
A former competitive athlete and member of Canada’s Women’s Rugby Team at the 1998 World Cup, Lee’s leadership is rooted in teamwork, resilience and collaboration. With a master’s degree in health policy and her role as an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto, she uses evidence combined with hands-on experience to bring innovative solutions to complex problems.
Deeply connected to her community, Lee has volunteered with local organizations, supported her children’s activities, and gained a firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by local residents and families. She is motivated by a vision of a brighter future for Etobicoke–Lakeshore, where everyone has access to the health care, education, and the opportunities they deserve.
